From Lima to Chicago to the boardroom,
and back to help others do the same.
I was born in Lima, Peru, and grew up in Chicago. I started my career in finance and technology, learned project management at Encompass, and went on to Allstate, where [TODO: confirm: I built a national sales diversity recruiting program]. I later led growth markets and DEI at Century 21 Real Estate, and today I am a Human Resources executive leading workforce engagement and workplace culture strategies at Morningstar in Chicago.
Along the way I volunteered with ALPFA for more than a decade, from chapter president to national regional director, and I’ve served on boards including ICF Chicago and NAHREP Midwest. I’ve mentored college students and youth in Chicago. None of it was glamorous. All of it taught me what makes people thrive.
I coach because I’ve lived the pressure, the stress, and the wins of a bicultural career, and because I believe the right conversation at the right time changes a life.
